* The organization and management of a company are influenced by the historical and societal context.
*Hofstede´s f study establishes the impact of cultural differences on management and clusters the organizations by the cultural map.
* Some cultural differences are motivation, leadership andorganization.
* The value orientations of management style are Power distance, uncertainty avoidance, individualism/ collectivism and masculinity/ femininity.
*Importance of exploring the different-structural preferences, and be able to recognize the inherent assumptions of the foreign management structures and processes when transferring practices.
*The search of the best model gathering practices for being able to respond to the demands of the rapidly changing business context and the pressures of internationalization.RECOMMENDATIONS:
During the internationalization process, Multinationals or all kind of organizations thinking in setting up themselves offshore, have to be conscious of thecultural differences. Executives have to be open minded to find the efficient production process without imposing their corporate structure. Host countries will diverge in their models, that is whyforeigns should know in advance the challenges they are going to face and be prepared to gather habits and integrate them to develop a new model culturally appropriate and accepted by both parts. If MNEtry to impose their culture, new workers could not be as efficient as desired because some practices can offend them. Trying to fit in other cultures is adequate to get ahead in new markets and to berespected by competitors.
