•What is the difference between a glossary and a terminology database?
Glossaries and terminology databases are linguistic toolsthat help us to know the meaning of words and contain explanations of concepts relevant to a certain field of study or action. The most important difference between them is that one is finished andwe can’t add anything (glossary) and the other is not finished (terminology database) and they keep adding more information. •What is the difference between a search engine and a subject tree?
Search engines and subject trees are include in web searchstrategies, but the way they do the search and the way they create an index with the found documents are the difference between them. Engines’ index is created automatically. However, subject trees’index is created manually.
A search engine is a program that searches documents for specified keywords and return a list of the documents where the keywords were found. Another program then reads thesedocuments and creates an index based on the words contained on them.
Subject trees are web-based search utilities that group available information into categories. Users search for information byselecting a thematic category and then selecting sub-categories.

•What is the difference between HAMT and MAHT?
Both of them take part in the translation function and need a machine to do a fasterand easier translation, but the difference between HAMT and MAHT is the way these translations are helped by those machines. In a human-aided machine translation (HAMT) we have an automation of thetranslating function with some human intervention in prediction, post edition or interaction, so is the machine who translates and we help it, reviewing its job.
