Desarrollo sostenible

INTRODUCCIÓN

Actualmente a nivel mundial y en este caso en Colombia, existe un común denominador en materia de medio ambiente; el deterioro ambiental. Este fenómeno se puede percibir en situaciones como los cambios climáticos injustificados, la disminución de los niveles de ríos y canalizaciones, la contaminación del aire, entre otros.
Dado lo anterior y con miras a mejorar la calidad de viday contribuir al mejoramiento y perdurabilidad de todo los que nos rodea se está haciendo mucho hincapié en lo que se conoce como sostenibilidad ambiental o desarrollo sostenible; término aplicado al desarrollo económico y social que permite hacer frente a las necesidades del presente sin poner en peligro la capacidad de futuras generaciones para satisfacer sus propias necesidades. 
El presentetrabajo tiene como objetivo dar a conocer todo lo relacionado con este tema que hoy en día está jugando un papel protagónico en materia ambiental así como también las legislaciones que rigen esta temática que permea todas las actividades de un país tanto en lo económico y político como en lo social y lo ambiental.

THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

According to World Environment Commission of theONU, created in 1983, defined sustainable development as development that meets present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Sustainable development is a justification that focuses primarily on two factors: the existence of limited natural resources (soil nutrients, water, minerals, etc..) and the large-scale economic growth whose only justificationdevelopment is using this as an argument against the environmental deterioration.
Because of this, the ONU seeks to achieve "sustainable development" This was created in 1972, the United Nations Programme on Environment (UNEP), which is responsible for promoting environmental activities and create awareness among people about the importance of caring for the environment.
The field ofsustainable development can be divided conceptually into three parts: environmental, economic and social development. It considers the social aspect of the relationship between social welfare and the environment and the economic boom.
The national constitution in the development of this principle of environmental sustainability, enshrined in Article 80 that: "The State shall plan the management andexploitation of natural resources to ensure sustainable development, conservation or replacement. It must also prevent and control the factors of environmental deterioration, impose legal sanctions and demand compensation for damages. Also, cooperate with other nations in the protection of ecosystems in border areas. "
Finally, in the development of new constitutional rules, and according to the UnitedNations Conference on Environment and Development, Rio de Janeiro in 1992, Law 99 was issued in 1993, he formed the National Environmental System (SINA) and created the Ministry of Environment as its governing body.
Sustainable development is critical because it seeks to preserve, protect and preserve the resources and carry out a satisfaction of current needs but without having an impact onfuture generations.
