TASKS / COMPETENCES TASKS RELATIVE TO THE MANAGEMENT ROLE
PLANNING
Prepare and implement Strategic and Annual Management Plans (including new investment proposals) Plan the purchase of investment goods projected in the Management Plan,or as approved by the owners Plan the monthly control of the Management Plan, along with the programmes for each department, analysing deviations, and implementing the necessary corrective measures Read initial/sign any documents that require urgent attention, review/analyse and answer the correspondence Plan, maintain and develop internal standards, and meet with personnel when required Calland/or participate in meetings in order to supply or receive information Establish distinct authorisation levels for tariffs, together with their ownership Take control of important payments, in line with the establishment’s standards. Control the receipt of goods (timetables,) Control the orders to suppliers Negotiate tariffs for prices and quality of goods with suppliers

PLANIFICACIÓN

Elaborary ejecutar el Plan estratégico y el Plan de Gestión anual( incluyendo propuestas de nuevas inversiones) C1.2 Planificar la compra de inversiones de inmovilizado prevista en el Plan de Gestión o aprobada por la propiedad C1.3 Planificar el control mensual del Plan de Gestión y los programas de cada departamento, analizando las desviaciones y adoptando las medidas correctoras necesarias C1.4 Firmaraquellos documentos, escritos, etc., que por su importancia, contenido u objetivos lo requieran y revisar /analizar y contestar la correspondencia C1.5 Planificar, Mantener y desarrollar las normas internas y recibir al personal cuando lo soliciten. C1.6 Convocar y/o participar en reuniones para suministrar o recibir información. C1.7 Establecer los diferentes niveles de autorización para tarifas,junto a la propiedad C1.8 Controlar aquellos pagos que por su importancia o por norma estén así establecidos. C1.9 Controlar la recepción de mercancías( horarios,...) C1.10 Controlar los pedidos a proveedores C1.11 Negociar con los proveedores las tarifas de precios y calidades

SUPERVISIÓN DEL CUMPLIMIENTO DE LA NORMATIVA LEGAL
Verificar que se cumplen las normas de higiene,protección contra incendios, etc., así como todas aquellas que tengan que ver con la seguridad y la salubridad del hotel y de las personas. Reconocer riesgos de incendio Tomar medidas de prevención Reconocer indicios Desconectar suministros eléctricos y gas Accionar la alarma Informar al servicio de bomberos Utilizar los extintores Limitar el área del incendio Proteger al personal, bienes yequipamiento Ocuparse de los enfermos repentinos Atender las defunciones de huéspedes /personal (ocurridas en el establecimiento) Atender a los huéspedes accidentados Actuar en caso de incendio Ocuparse de otras emergencias Dar parte de las circunstancias y medidas tomadas Comunicar con el servicio de policía/bomberos/hospital

SUPERVISE ADHERANCE TO LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
Assure that the hygiene, fireprotection standards etc. are complied with, including standards that deal with the security and health of staff and guests Recognise fire risks Take preventative measures Recognise and understand Health & Safety signs Disconnect gas and electrical supplies Operate the alarm Inform the fire service Use the fire extinguishers Limit the spread of the fire Protect personnel, goods and equipment Look afterpeople taken suddenly ill Attend to the deaths of guests / personnel (occurring on the premises) Attend to injured guests Act in fire emergencies Take charge of other emergencies Provide reports of the circumstances and measures taken Communicate with the police/fire/hospital services
