Sherlock Holmes is an action mystery film about one detective that he tries to catch to killer of five persons. The film is directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Joel Silver. The cast includesRobert Downey, Jr. as Sherlock Holmes, a scientist and eccentric detective, who becomes a wanted fugitive in his hunt for the killer, and Jude Law as Dr. John Watson a prominent doctor and the best friendof Holmes.
The story begins in London with the capture of Lord Blackwood by Sherlock Holmes, Blackwood is a killer who has already killed five other young women for this reason he has been sentencedto death, but he promises to Holmes that he is going to escape from prison in the next three days and he going to kill again, but Holmes doesn’t believe him.
Three days later, the tomb is opened andthe body of Blackwood isn’t there, the police calls Holmes. Immediately Holmes and Watson begin to investigate, the clues lead them to meet with Irene Adler a professional thief who is finding toBlackwood too. Holmes doesn’t trust her and he decides doesn’t help her. The search continues and soon they discover experiments attempting to merge science with magic in an old house, while Holmes andWatson were there three persons strange arrived and began to fight with them.
The next clue leads them to a meat factory, where they see to Blackwood but when Holmes tries to capture him, the factoryexplodes. Watson has been wounded but while he is in the hospital recovering Holmes discovers something, in this point the film has an unexpected twist because Holmes realizes that the plan ofBlackwood is not only to kill the woman, he wants to kill all members of Parliament through of a pump like that destroyed the factory.
But Holmes removes the cyanide containers from the machine, and laterhe and Blackwood begin to fight in the bridge, where Blackwood falls from the bridge and is hanged.
And Holmes saves the day
