The following exercises were designed to assist in preparing you for the Interpreter Skills Test by helping you gain linguistic flexibility or ‘resourcefulness’ with regard to terminology. By taking the time to complete these exercises before you take the test, you will certainly increase your confidence in your linguistic abilities. These exercises are just a part of your overallpreparation for the ISA and should be done in addition to practice with a recruiter, listening to the demo presentation and completing the practice sentences, as well as committing the translation of some terminology to memory.

I. Grouping
