Site Survey & Detailed Engineering Package
Dependencies
Customer must provide pre-survey data to include
_ Site address, contact, & accessinformation.
_ Aisle/Bay rack assignment(s).
_ Aisle/Bay/Breaker assignments for DC Power (if applicable).
_ Aisle/Bay/Shelf assignments for OSP fiber panel(s).
_ Aisle/Bay/Shelf assignment forDCN management network connectivity (where
applicable)
Statement of Work
1. Conduct a site survey of each equipment site location to verify local conditions.
2. Preparation of Site Issues Report.a. Site Issues Report to include conditions requiring remediation prior to
installation and/or other action items assigned to each respective responsible
party.
b. The initial Engineering DesignPackage (EDP) is to include the installers Scope
of Work, Installation Notes, List of Materials (LOM), Cable Running List (Power,
Fiber, & Data), Floor Plan, Cable Run Diagram, Grounding Schematic,Rack
Facing Diagram, & Commissioning Data.
3. Specification of installation materials, including:
a. Relay Rack.
b. Vertical fiber duct to connect existing horizontal duct to fiber management in
newequipment rack – 1 per rack.
c. Intra-bay power cable for AMP site locations (FAP to AMP shelf).
d. DC power cable runs for OADM site locations. (This assumes no intermediary
connection points.I.e. direct connection to a BDFB or BDCBB)
e. Breakers and/or fuses for AMP site location FAP and/or BDFB/BDCBB
f. Power, ground, lugs and terminations.
g. Intra-shelf/node line side fiber patchcables.
h. Tributary fiber patch cables.
i. Intra node NCT CAT5 Ethernet cabling.
j. Labeling materials
k. Miscellaneous materials
4. Preparation of detailed engineering design package in a mutuallyagreed upon format,
including:
a. Contact list and directions to site and/or GPS coordinates.
b. Installers Scope of Work
c. Installer work items and installation notes.
d. List of equipment...
