What is Pancake Day?
Pancake Day (also known as Shrove Tuesday) is the last day before the period which Christians call Lent. It is traditional on this dayto eat pancakes.
Why are Pancakes eaten on Shrove Tuesday?
Lent is a time of abstinence, of giving things up. So Shrove Tuesday is the last chance to indulgeyourself, and to use up the foods that aren't allowed in Lent. Pancakes are eaten on this day because they contain fat, butter and eggs which were forbiddenduring Lent.
What is Shrove Tuesday?
Shrove Tuesday is a day of celebration as well as penitence, because it's the last day before Lent. Throughout the UnitedKingdom, and in other countries too, people indulge themselves on foods that traditionally aren't allowed during Lent. Pancakes are eaten on this day becausethey contain fat, butter and eggs which were forbidden during Lent.

Recipe of pancakes walnut
Ingredients:
650 grams of flour
250 grams of butter
500grams of sugar
100 grams of Ground Nut
15 tips
15 clear
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon Baking Powder

PreparationCream butter and sugar with a whisk until well acremen, add vanilla and egg yolks.

Then add the flour, baking powder and ground nuts, add the pasta withthe balloon-shaped enclosure.

Grease and flour a muffin pan.
Pour into the mold, garnishwith pecan hearts to taste and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 35 minutes or until the pancake firmly. Let cool, remove from pan and cut it into slices.
