Setting:
The movie unwraps in France were Dantes meets with Napoleon then Dantesgoes to Marcella where he lives. Dantes is send to a prison.
Plot:
This film is about young men named Edmomd Dantes that were wrongfully accused by Danglas and Fernando. So Edmond is left to rotin jail, there he is driven mad and nearly to the point of suicide. Then he meets Abbe Faria and with his help Edmond learns an incredible amount about pretty much everything including how to find atreasure, Edmond escapes. So he plans a sweet revenge.
Character:
Protagonist – Edmond Dantes is young, talented and handsome. He is in love with Mercedes Iguanada and is the father of Albert Mondego. Becomes Count of Monte Cristo by the treasure that he found. After of his revenge he lives happily ever after with his family and best friend Jacopo.
Antagonist- Fernando Mondego was Dantes bestfriend but he got jealous of Dantes success in business and love. So he was the one that accused Dantes for the crime that he didn’t commit. At the end Edmond has no choice but to kill him.Narrator:
The point of view of the narrator is in third person.
Voice:
The author used a simple language so that people could understand it. It was designed for the children and people to understand it.Theme:
The message in this movie is that no matter what problems or bad stuff that you have been through, God will always make justice.
Plot piagram:
Exposition- Edmond Dantes is a very lucky guyhe had a women that he loved and also he became captain. But that was about to change. Fernando his best friend was jealous of Dantes. So he accused him of traitor of a crime that he didn’t commit.So he was send to a jail unfairly.
Rising action- He was devastated, he wanted to kill himself. In jail he met his neighbor named Abbe Faria so they became friends. Both of them tried to escape....
