Essay movie: “Gridiron gang”
The problems in our society have worsened in the last years,principally by increasing the gang’s members that roam in the streets and popular neighbourhoods and crowded areas, as the down town of each city where we can identify very easy the people with problems: likedrug addiction among teenagers who were not educated with well-established bases within their family and came from a young offending life. The movie “Gridiron Gang” shows us the truth about the lifeof many teenagers that always have bad problems and they do not know how to solve them. This essay is to show everyone that the young gang members can be given a chance in their own lifes, which ifit is infused in their hearts, they are going to take that chance and they are not going to follow his destiny as gang members who are they.
The movie is about two young guys that are gang’smembers, one of them is Willie Weathers who is in the 88’s and the other who is Kelvin Owens and he is in the 95’s. Those gangs always are fighting for the respect and the ego of every single gang member,who always wants that his gang will win the fight. Sean Porter works at Kilpatrick Detention Center in Los Angeles. He every day has to see the duel between those gangs. He wants to solve thisproblem occupying the minds of the teenagers in a contact sport that can be practice in the juvenile jail, and decide on football, rather than those kept their mind on the gangs and how to revenge thedeath of one of their loved ones. Coach Porter choose the name of the team, the KILPATRICK MUSTANGS, he teach the guys how to spell “M-U-S-T-A-N-G-S” in the practices.
