Free Orientation & Airport Pickup
Brunel International offers a freeairport pick up service, and a fun, three-day orientation programme for
new international students. These are free of charge for international students, but must be booked in
advance. More information will be in your pre-departure booklet, or you can read more and book online at

Apply for a Student Visa to Study in the UK
Your student visa application will be assessed under the points based system. You should apply
under Tier 4 – General Student (this includes if you are under 18) Please see the separate sheet:
“How to get a Visa” for more information, or visitwww.brunel.ac.uk/international/immigration

Postgraduate Students - You need to meet all conditions of your conditional
offer by this date, so that you have enough time to receive your CAS and apply for your
student visa. While we will still accept payments and qualifications and issue CAS
numbers after this date, in some countries you may not have enough time. If this happensthen you will have to defer your entry to September 2013.
Undergraduate Students - If you have applied to Brunel through UCAS, you must notify them of your decision by the deadline indicated on your “Replying To Offer” letter by
replying online on “Track”. The deadline will depend on where you applied and where
you live. Please see www.ucas.com/students/track .

applicants for postgraduate and research programmes, and

Airport pick up service for students not attending orientation
Your CAS or “Confirmation of Acceptance for Study”is a unique number assigned to you, which shows you
have an unconditional offer from Brunel. You must have a CAS in order to apply for a Student Visa. Brunel
will send you your CAS by email, once you have completed all of the following (as a CAS is only valid for 6
months, we will not send you one more than 3 months before the start of your course).
