Why does cigarturn off life?
We want to answer this question to inform people about the negative effects of cigar and to be conscious about how this can end with our lives. This topic is important because not onlyfor us, but for other people because:
• Cigar ends with the life of hundreds of people each year.
• Cigar produce many deathful diseases.
• People start consuming tobacco at early ages and theydon’t have a good quality of life.
“Every year hundreds of thousands of people all over the globe die from medical complications caused by smoking. Here are some of the different effects of smoking:Raises a person's blood pressure and heart rate. It decreases a person's blood flow to body extremities like the fingers and toes. The brain and the nervous system is stimulated for a short time and thenreduced. I causes dizziness, nausea, watery eyes, hyperacidity, weakened sense of taste and smell, loss of appetite, shortness of breath, chronic coughing, reduced overall fitness, increasednervousness and tension agitation, loss of concentration, change in sleep patterns, headaches, coughs, strong cravings…” ( Smokingadvice, 2008)
Smoking can become an addiction, and once it has become anaddiction it’s very hard to leave. “According to the last report (2008) from the Consejo estatal contra las addiciones en Jalisco (CECAJ), 9 citizens die per day because of diseases associated with theconsume of tobacco.” (Maurlilia Zorita, 2010)
With OMS (1948) as the founder of this celebration, on May 31 every year we celebrate holiday against tobacco with the intention of indicating the risksthat the consumption of tobacco implies for the health and to promote effective policies of reduction of the above mentioned consumption.
