Other girlSettings: The girls were in Michelle’s grandmother’s house.
They were gathered around the fireplace in the study.
It was late at night.
Plot: The five girls were in a sleeping over inan old house that belongs to Michelle’s grandmother. The house as big and drafty, Michelle, Kate, Mary, Ellen and the other girl were gathered around the fireplace in the study. They were laughing andenjoying the sleeping over. Michelle asked in a soft whisper: “Want to tell scary stories?” First the others girls were quiet and joust looking at each other. But then they accept.
Kate started totell a scary story. “My older sister told me one last weekend, it is called Bloody Mary.” Everyone looked up on Mary, so Michelle grabbed her hand and said, “Look, no blood.” So Kate said: “I am nottalking about our Mary, I mean the real Bloody Mary-she was Queen of England on long time ago.” So Ellen asks why she was called like that. And Kate said that she was called like that because sheliked to chop off people’s heads. And if someone didn’t do what she wanted, she had condemned to death. And Kate went on. She said that there’s an old superstition about Bloody Mary. They all love scarystories; especially Mary. And she’d never heard about Bloody Mary before.
Kate began again, “They say, that Bloody Mary still comes back. They say that if you go into a room with a mirror at night,and you turn off all the lights, Bloody Mary will appear. So you stand in the dark room with no lights on; right in front of the mirror. And you need to say the following words, ‘I do believe in BloodyMary, I do believe in Bloody Mary…’ over and over again. Then it would appear Bloody Mary’s face on the mirror. And finally you will find way she is really called Bloody Mary.
