Estrategias pedagógicas utilizadas por el equipo docente a cargo del taller de desarrollo sustentable para la adquisición de habilidades vocacionales dealumnos y alumnas con discapacidad intelectual pertenecientes al centro socio laboral Paulo Freire de Concepción.

Introduction


There are 1,950,619 people with some degree of disability inworking age, of which only 9% have a paid job and has intellectual disabilities in Chile. In the eighth region the situation appears quite similar: One in four people has a disabil does not work while one in nine people who work presents disability. A 2004 study states that “Persons with disabilities , while having the option of training in occupational levels of special schools and vocationaltraining centers , do not have a wide range as the rest of the population and the there , rarely contemplate easing measures that respond to the various personal qualities of the students. "


     Instructional strategies are key to the process above mentioned, fostering or diminishing the development of skills in the students . One of the pending issues in Chile, in addition to the unemploymentof people with intellectual disabilities, is education for sustainability , as the lack of natural resources and the evident deterioration of the planet is increasing day seeing current and future generations directly affected new pedagogical strategies that are provided in the workshop of sustainable development , highly innovative , and it's important to make themselves known to otherinstitutions are encouraged to discuss different possibilities of working with students participating in a work center power as well , giving them real chances of finding new sources that open to the national economy .
Paulo Freire states that " Teaching requires respect for the autonomy of the self of the learner ," a phrase that raises without further ado, the essence of how to approach the task ofgenerating teaching strategies , without having to take the learners , they being players the learning process , on the other hand Bertalanffy argues that if learning strategies were unified , integrated as a whole and the fundamental objectives were actually cross , the sciences , values ​​and humanistic sciences especially , respect for life, environmental awareness and respect for the individualbeing as constructor of their own knowledge , education, significant changes would be easier to learn to learn.
Through Decree 87 which approves plans and study programs for people with intellectual disabilities , which in its general objectives in job training holds Encourage the acquisition of learning that enable the performance of the young in life work , Pedagogy 3000 which is basedon the paradigm shifts of the new millennium and points to the Integral Development of the human being , integrating , ethical and solidarity , social, multicultural and ecological physical, emotional , cognitive , spiritual , intuitive, aesthetic and creative levels , holistically enable , shape and inclusive and sustainable development which meets the needs of the present without compromising theability of future generations to have their own use , sustainable development workshop of Paulo Freire socio workplace , seeks to generate new business alternatives an innovative and new pedagogical strategies aimed not only add to the students in the workplace but also improve their quality of life and create social impact from the micro to the macro- project.
