We live in a society that have great achievements, but this doesn’t mean that we areperfect because there still some important things to solve. We have personal problems like dissatisfactions and frustrations, moral diseases, depressions etc., but we also have collective problemslike social conflicts, lack of solidarity, aggressions and violations of all kind and big economic inequalities. These are complex problems tan need complex ways of solving them. This is due in part tothe current education system and the environment around us.
Now at days the educations tends to form prepare people in concrete specialties, and ready for a labor performance right after they endtheir studies, living behind their human formation, and with this they are creating indifference an lack of solidarity.
The behavior models that de communication media have impose such as television,publicity, and fashion, have made our youth. This way of thinking isn’t easy to change, but education can deal with it, and with the real problems this represent. This makes that the necessity of anethical education be more like an emergency because of the constant change of thinking of the society.
Introducing ethics in our educational system is a necessity, because ethics try to establish normsthat regulate the human behavior that will let solve the problems that affect our coexistence, contributing real solutions.
We need to understand that morality and ethics is not the same thing,because morality refers to a particular time and place, and ethics is something that affects all human beings, holders of same basic needs. For the same reason we need to separate it from the religion,because religions only affects the believers that want to solve problems related with religion.
