The role of Traffic Engineering in developing the Transportation Management Plan (TMP) is to provide the Design Team with a Traffic Data and an Accident Data Analysis at PFI, to provide input pertaining to the safe and efficient management of traffic during construction, and to review the plans throughout the Concurrent Engineering process toensure that traffic management and traffic safety have been sufficiently addressed in the TMP plan.
