The legends of ghosts are as old as life itself. There is no corner of the world not to run stories of ghosts or apparitions. 
What is clear is that sometimes things happen that have noexplanation. Human rationality is to give another answer, give a logical explanation or anything before accepting that we are not alone in this world.  Many do not want to accept that maybe there issomething "more with us. 

The apparitions, specters or ghosts is very characteristic of human nature has generated and generates a vast amount of literature inspired by film and theater and hascreated countless legends and myths, if these, conversely, have not created this hoax, the believe in ghosts science considers a type of superstition based in human psychology, because it feeds the needfor eternal life, like religion, and sublimates death unacceptable and abhorrent act through apotropaic to believe that consciousness survives beyond the end of it. 

But in history we find thatprimitive peoples have a life ghosts infinitesimal and miserable enough to encourage and move a body, make your heart beat and give breath or breathing, but life after all, as they had enough or strongenough to manifest in dreams to torment or warn the living or as shadows and just needed food (in ancient cultures to worship the spirits and ancestors had designated an annual day to feed them withofferings of food or sacrifice, that Christians have been replaced by flowers on the Day of the Dead or All Saints). This calmed the ancestors and ensured its beneficent influence. The belief in ghostsis witnessed from the early Sumerian and Egyptian texts: the ghost of Enkidu appeared to Gilgamesh in the Epic of Gilgamesh call.
