GUAJIRA
The Department of La Guajira is a Colombian national entity of the northern extremity of South America. It is located north of the country and belongs to the departments of Colombia'sCaribbean region. Bounded on the north and west by the Caribbean Sea, east by the Gulf of Venezuela and this self-titled country and in Colombia on the south by the Department of Cesar and southwest by theDepartment of Magdalena3. Its capital is the city of Riohacha.
