HALLOWEEN: HALLOWEEN
Each year it becomes more popular the celebration of the "party" of Halloween or Halloween. The children, with the full approval of their parents, come out at night on October31, dressed in ghosts, vampires, skulls or demons, house to house asking for candy. The supermarkets and toy stores are characterized by this date, decorating their windows with pumpkins, bats andblack color ads, orange and red. Practically all people are embracing the Halloween custom, with a complacent and feel convinced that there is nothing obscure in this festival.

 Origin of this holiday:The name Halloween is a transliteration derived from the phrase "All Hallows Eve", which means "eve or vigil of All Saints".

This festival stems from the diabolical rites of the Celtic priestscalled Druids. The Celtic tribes were expanded in most of Europe, and their religious beliefs were based on polytheism (many gods). One of these gods was Saman, god of the dead. The Druid priests,used to meet every year to invoke the god Saman and thousands of evil spirits, in order to meet predictions for next year.
After the Romans conquered the territories of the Celts (Scotland, Ireland,etc.), by 43 BC, was added to the festival of the Druids, the invocation of Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruit trees and their conclusion was on October 31 of each year.
 

This mix of cutting paganfestivities were added a number of ways, such as campfires, fun with fruit and gourds make faces with lighting candles inside. This date also acquired the celebration of the arrival of autumn,gradually took a sinister character. Amid the festivities, were invoked evil spirits and was fully convinced that ghosts, goblins and all sorts of demons roamed the area. It was the right time to practicedivination and all knowledge hidden in a real mix practiced by the ancient Celts and Roman paganism.
