The doubtness has always being one of the most frequent thoughts in every human since long time ago. Hamlet was a romantic character, who loved to read and learn, but over everything to appreciatelife’s beauty. After the death of his father and the apparition of the ghost, was when a new thought took control of Hamlet’s mind “To be or not to be?”

“Is it better to live or die”(Shakespeare 3.1) The question centers in various points of view: the pressure that Hamlet gets after he finds out that his uncle Claudius murdered his father, and therefore he has to take revenge and murderhim, furthermore the early unexpected marriage of his mother, and finally the repressed sentiments towards Ophelia, to reach his final objective. Some teens nowadays also live asking themselves if it isbetter to live and act according to what’s happening in their lives or to give up and not do it. In fact is a question that we ask ourselves every day since the moment we wake up and make decisions.Obstacles and consequences are the ones that stop us from saying yes or no to our actions.

“Fear of death makes people soft” (Shakespeare 3.1) Not only of death, but also decisions. In life,us teens have a Hamlet within us, we doubt in what to do and not to do in life, to make or not a decision, that perhaps we wish to make or we can’t decide. Some days we see something “bright” and thenext day it may seem bad, and that’s why we fear and we’re afraid to make decisions.

“To die, to sleep- to sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there’s the rub, for in that sleep for in that sleepof death what dreams may come, when we have shuffled off this mortal coil” (Shakespeare 3.1) Hamlet asks himself if it’s better to die and go dream in heaven, because there’s a bright side, but alsohe doesn’t know what will he get if he commits suicide. “Whether ‘tis better nobler in the mind to suffer…end them” He doesn’t know if he should live or commit suicide, due to the fact of all the...
