"I will build a motor car for the great multitude.it will be so low in price that no man will be unable to own one."-Henry Ford

1. Introduction.

At the beginning of last century while performing an industrial revolution came a visionary man who thought of the idea of creating cars with an engine that will use internal combustion and that could be produced in large masses.

1.1 HenryFord background
He always showed interest in machinery and in 1891 took a job with the lighting company of Thomas Edison. This meant a big boost for Henry, who later founded the Ford Motor Co. in 1903.

1.2 Ford Motor Company.
Henry Ford founded the Ford Motor Company for the purpose of making available to everyone a cheap car that almost anyone can afford; the first model of his company wascalled Model T, which was produced by some years in black paint on all models. Henry Ford was born in Michigan in United States July 30, 1863. In1908 launched the Model T, the success of this car was so great that by 1918 all cars in the U.S. were model T and about half the world were too.

Except that Ford ended up being a victim of its own success. Maintained for too long the ModelT until 1927, year that Ford Motor Co placed in production the Model A, car that was supposed to be the successor to the Model T. For these years, sales of the Model T had decreased significantly since that Henry Ford did not think it necessary to have a successor to the Model T.

2. History at that time.

While the rest of the auto companies made luxury cars, Henry had the idea of making a car thateveryone could buy, which could be available to all people in the united states. This car turned out to be a success; its sales were growing rapidly thanks to the price of that car that was $825, few years later the price dropped to $575 thanks to the improvements made to the production live. Over ten thousand cars were sold in 1908 establishing a new record. At that time was much morepractical to have a car than using the train, because citizens didn’t had to wait long time for going back and forth to a place, they just drive their own way to the destiny.

Many people think so far that the U.S. economy increased thanks to the company, then we have the factor of the second world war, a critical moment for the U.S. economy. In World War II Ford contribute to the creation of tanks, jeeps and other car's used by the U.S. army this improved much more the US economy, and at the end of the war United States was one of the most powerful countries in the world; more robust cars and larger engines were introduced in the coming years due to the drop prices of oil and the need of faster and more secure cars.

3. Improvements thanks to Ford.

3.1 Overview
One of the best things hedid for the company was that he revolutionized mass production line, to the point that they could get a fully assembled car every 93 minutes. From this it owes the success of the company, reducing time is more efficient and saves more money, and so they could make cars more accessible to the population. This revolutionized the industry by reducing assembly time and therefore increasing productionand lowering prices. He also started with the idea of day wages; this was a big attraction for people well trained because the company preferred to hire people with a better degree and that improved the quality of the product.

3.2 Production line

The production chain, with which Ford revolutionized the automobile industry, was a gamble, since only viable if demand was able to absorb itsmassive production, the size of the U.S. market offered a framework, but Ford also correctly assessed the purchasing power of average U.S. man at the door of the consumer society. Whenever there is such demand, allowing the production chain to save working time lost by not having to move workers from one place to another in the factory, by exacerbating the recommendations of the "scientific...
