MEDIDAS DE PREVENCION:
La hepatitis B es un serio problema de salud pública. Por lo tanto, el trabajo en prevención y promoción de la salud es fundamental:
* Vacunacontra la hepatitis B
* Mantenga relaciones sexuales seguras (siempre utilice preservativos)
* Si se realiza tatuajes, verifique que los instrumentos sean descartablesy estériles.
* Nunca comparta máquinas de afeitar, agujas, cepillo dental, tijeras para uñas, paños para lavarse ni cualquier otro objeto que pueda estar en contacto consangre.
* No donar sangre ni derivados sanguíneos si tiene hepatitis B.
* Los trabajadores de salud deben utilizar siempre guantes de látex en situaciones de contactocon sangre o fluidos corporales y además deben vacunarse contra el VHB.
* Los bebés nacidos de madres con VHB deben recibir tratamiento adecuado en las 12 horasposteriores al nacimiento.

* The born babies of mothers with VHB must receive treatment adapted in 12 hours later to the birth
