The War of Reform of Mexico - also known as the War of Three Years - that passed from December 17, 1857 until January 1, 1861, was an armed conflict that faced to bothdecrees in which the Mexican company was divided: liberal and conservative.

For that I initiate

It began when the general conservative Félix Zuloaga announced Tacubaya's Plan in December, 1857, which was demanding the derogation of the Constitution of 1857 (that was hurting the privileges of the clergy), it was questioning Ignacio Comonfort's permanency in the presidency and was throwing thesummons of an extraordinary Congress, which would take charge elaborating another constitutional letter that was guaranteeing the real interests of the Mexican people that, in this moment of the history, was deeply catholic.
Two days after his publication, Comonfort (elect President in this moment) adhirió to Tacubaya's Plan. Benito Juárez (President of the Supreme Court of Justice in this moment)defended energetically the Constitution and refused to collaborate with the conservatives. For this reason, Comonfort ordered that they should stop it and were supporting it in prison. As a time liberal and conservative they had parallel governments, with the headquarters of the conservative government in the Mexico City and the liberal ones in Veracruz.

The Plan of the Citadel was reaffirming this intention. Since then until middle of 1860 the territory of the current State of Mexico was under the control of the conservatives. Of such a way several conservative governors would go fungiendo. Then tried to besupported a pecular government of the State of Mexico, being that of Michoacán I shelter of this government and source of provisions for the guerrillas mexiquenses. So much liberal as conservatives they had internal disagreements. Effect and reason of they was Ayutla's pronouncement in the State of Mexico in December, 1858.

IMPORTANT FACTS

-In Michoacán, liberal Red Sabás Iturbide it left thegubernatura of the State of Mexico Simón Guzmán. This one touched to support Michael Blanco's campaign, who was trying to take Toluca and even to surprise the Mexico City. This one and other attempts frustrated until middle of 1860, when Berriozábal managed enseñorearse of Toluca's valley. This advance was one of the steps that prepared Silao's resonant battle, gained by the constitutionalists.
- Theconservative sheaves continued for Malinalco's course, especially in the saw that goes of the Mount of the Crosses to Villa of the Coal, aiming hard blows, significant for the death of important personalities of the party constitutionalist: Santos Degollado in Salazar's Plains on June 15, 1861 and Leandro Valle, to eight days, in the Mount of the Crosses.
- The war ended with the victory of theliberal ones and the president Benito Juárez installed his administration in the Mexico City. As soon as the Constituent Congress had expired with his task of elaborating a new constitution, the summons were done to realize choices so much of the federal power as those of the conditions; it touched then to the state legislatures the arrangement of the particular constitutions of every condition,of agreement with the general constitution. There met this way the first Constitutional Congress that would work already under the beginning of the great letter of 1857.
- On October 12, 1861 the legislature of the condition was reaching the production of a new Constitution, according to the federal one of 57.
