SENATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF COLOMBIA – COMMITTEE FOR TERRITORIAL ORGANIZATION AND SURVEILLANCE OF THE DECENTRALIZATION PROCESS, Bogotá, Colombia.The Committee for Territorial Organization and Surveillance of the Decentralization Process is a parliamentary group, constituted by eleven Senators, which produces law projects concerning Colombia’sterritorial organization and its political, administrative and fiscal decentralization matters. I worked for the Committee as a junior researcher in fiscal decentralization and I produced severaldocuments for supporting the legislative initiatives.
As my final production I wrote a document for the committee which focused on the Colombia’s fiscal decentralization evolution from 1991 to 2009 named:“La descentralización fiscal en Colombia desde el año 1991 y la Región Administrativa y de Planificación de la Orinoquia: Un análisis del proceso colombiano” (The fiscal decentralization in Colombiafrom 1991 and the Administrative Region of Orinoquia: An analysis of the colombian process; 54 pages). This monograph was given to all committee’s senators as an initiative to advance in Colombia’s...
