How to choose a right LED lamp?
LED spotlight is a new updating and upgrading lighting product, which is getting more and more popular day by day because of its high energy-saving, long life-span, pollution-free advantages etc., especially when the whole world is seeking for energy conservation and environmental protection at present. However,the fierce price war is also increasing sharply. The price difference may be in 2-3 times between two LED lamps which seem nearly the same in appearance, structure and performance. Hence, many purchasers and users become confused and lose judgement, don't know where the price spread exactly comes from. Even an engineer may can not distinguish this clearly, let along the normal consumers. The marketis already so chaotic, which makes the consumers feel at a loss even more and don't know how to choose right led lamps they need. As a professional LED spotlight manufacturer we think it's necessary to offer some useful experiences and suggestions to all customers about the main factors which cause such big price difference between "same" product, and further more how to select a good LED light.In order to distinguish the merits or defects of one LED spot light, let's start from its structure. An LED light is mainly composed of lamp cup(heat sink), LEDs, PCB, lamp base, driver, lens, screws and so on.

<1>. Comparing the materials of lamp cup
The lamp cup is mainly used for heatdissipation, also called heat sink or radiator. For a LED lamp, it matters a lot whether the lamp cup's heat dissipation function is good or not. Take same power factor and same quality LEDs for example, the LEDs' luminous will decay sharply in high working temperature if the heat conduction project is not good enough. And for sure the lamp's life span will also reduce heavily. ►The definition ofluminance maintenance factor: When the lamp lights on in normal working conditions within its lifetime, the ratio of luminous flux at a specific time to the initial flux value is indicated by percentage usually. The luminous flux will decay with the increase of lighting time.One lamp's useful life is defined by the maintenance factor of its luminance. The lamp is regarded as reaching the end ofuseful time when its maintenance factor is lower than 50%. National standard: ≥78% after 2,000 hrs lighting; Foreign advanced level: ≥90% after 2,000 hrs lighting; American Energy Star: ≥80% at 40% of its rated life time. ►Different heat sink materials of lamp cup There are three kinds of lamp cup commonly used at present: Aluminium heat sink, Ceramic heat sink, Thermal conductive plastic heat sink.And among them, the aluminium heat sink also have several kinds by different forming methods: aluminium extruded section, aluminium stamping, aluminium flow forming section, aluminium die-casting section etc. Generally speaking, aluminium heat sink is better than other materials, and furthermore the aluminium extruded section is most expensive in production cost, who has beautiful appearance byvarious surface treatments, such as sandblasting, pulling profile, high-design, anodizing, coloring, the second high-grade aluminium oxide and so on. ►Aluminium extruded section The extruded aluminium profile is also called lathe aluminium, composed by 6063 aluminium alloy whose thermal conductivity is 205W/m-K. The 6063 aluminium alloy is made by three major element of aluminum, magnesium andsilicon. Each element has definite range of content. The magnesium is the most expensive one among them. So some suppliers use the minimum level of magnesium or even lower than the minimum to reduce the production cost. Moreover, some other factories add waste electric wire, aluminium pot and slag etc. to the alloy, which can not be called 6063 aluminium alloy any more. Such unqualified "aluminium...
