My name is Laura Barra and I am writting you this letter toinform you about the many tourist attractions that are in Murcia, for you and your students can know it.

Of its artistic heritage, Murcia has its great cathedral with its Baroque facade andGothic interior,it also has its famous Casino, Murcia has numerous theaters as Teatro Romea (Murcia), Teatro Lope de Vega (Mula), Teatro Guerra (Lorca), Teatro Cervantes (Abarán), etc.

The cityalso has many monuments as Castillo Santuario de la Vera Cruz (Caravaca de la Cruz), Casa Romana de la Fortuna (Cartagena), Palacio Consistoria (Cartagena), Iglesia de San Esteban (Murcia),Palacio del Almudí (Murcia), Palacio Episcopal (Murcia), and finally we highlight the museum Salzillo.

This beautiful city is also noted for its climate. It havetwo seas on one coastline - the MarMenor and the Mediterranean - , impressive cliffs, heavenly beaches of endless white sand, lively ports and wild coves with crystal clear water, more than 3,000 hours of sun a year and mildtemperatures - even in winter - with a yearly average of more than 18ºC. This is the Costa Cálida, the ideal place to spend some days relaxing both in winter and summer.

Murcia has a variedcuisine, typically Mediterranean. Murcia's gastronomy is healthy, varied and delicious, with every corner of the Region having its own something to offer. Its dishes are a true reflection of theregionos contrasts, each evoking the different flavours of our landscapes, whether inland, huerta or coast.

Murcia also has its famous cultural festivals as Las Fiestas de Primavera with ElBando de la Huerta, Fiestas de Carthagineses y Romanos, Semana Santa, Carnavales and more.

In short, Murcia is a city full of dignity to enjoy and learn.
