The authors main point is analyze the changes of the logistics. In the past the logistics it was so simple, they not existed a lot of ways oftransportation, the customer’s needs were easy to supply, the time was not important like nowadays because it was not exist the free competence.

Today’s thecustomers have the way to find more suppliers, they want more quality for less money. They demand the loads in the correct place at time.

Logistics has toevolucionate day by day, because the world is not still , people are moving with it, the needs are more than before, the market is not the same like 10years ago, the merchandises have different characteristics , companies are growing and all this king of things are created new issues to face.

The authorsgive a different way to analyze logistics department,

I’m agree with his meaning of logistics, I think the past meaning it was created to many yearsago, when the needs were different or when the logistic it was not important for the company.

The activities of logistics are increasing, they are notonly one or two activities to develop, and the meaning of logistics that give the authors is “Demand flow leadership”. I think is a new way to definelogistics.

The explain that the authors give us in this text is about how the business is changing and how the satisfaction of the customers has to beunderstand and be deal with them.

In the world business people could not wait for the things happened, they have to be prepared for the challenges.
