DOG AND CAT CHASE

THEME: Pets

OBJECTIVE: To remember words by repetition

MATERIALS:
Markers

TIME: 15 minutes

STEPS:

1. Write on the board “PETS” and make the face of a catand a dog

2. Sit children in a circle.

3. Teacher is going to walk around the outside of the circle patting the Ss on the head saying "dog" each time.

4. Suddenly, teacher says"cat" and the student touched must chase the teacher around the circle.

5. Teacher must try to sit in the place that the child was before.
If the teacher is touched by student, she must touchthe heads again. If she makes it back without being touched, then the chasing child walks around the circle touching heads.

6. Continue the game until each student has been dog and catEVALUATION OF ANIMALS AND PETS

SINGING AND MOVING

THEME: Locates

OBJECTIVE: To review vocabulary while singing and moving the body.MATERIALS:
Picture of left and right
Markers

TIME: 20 minutes

STEPS:

1. Present to children big pictures of left and right.

2. Using a marker, write the letter “L” in bigletters on the children’s left hand and foot. Be sure to write the letter so it is right side up from his/her point of view.

3. Using the marker, write the letter “R” in big letters on thepreschooler’s right hand and foot.

When marking children with the letters “L” and “R” for left and right. Add some flowers, smiley faces or even hearts to their hands and feet.

4. Teacher shouldabout face and sing the song:
“Left and right,
Forward and back.
Left and right,
Forward and back.
Left and right,
Forward and back.
Left and right,
Forward and back.
Sit down
Stand up”5. Repeat the song in a loud voice and making the movements described in the song with a lot of energy.

6. Wash the marker of the children’s hands and feet.
