En este trabajo se busca realizar un recorrido por las transformaciones que ha experimentado el concepto de alfabetización, siempre en torno a la educación, tomando como ejes: las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, como así también, su implicancia en el ámbito social y como vehículo de liberación.
De esta manera, en un primer momento nos encontraremos con elconcepto primario de Alfabetización, en el sentido de codificar y decodificar, para posteriormente, con la introducción de las tecnologías de información y las nuevas estructuras sociales, sufrir las transformaciones correspondientes.
