322 | Modal verbs to express likes and preferences, (would rather…... would prefer…., would like……,)Block III * Introducethe class to students and show them the new vocabulary, * the grammar you will use to this unit, * Skills they improve with this unit. * Students will talk about TV shows answering and talking questions about the different programs. * Ss’ read the article and complete the exercise on page 42 of upload book (this book was taken as an option to the semester 2011 –A? * Then they have toanswer the exercise with an easy exercise they are going to use words in the box to complete questions and sentences on page 42. * The last exercises were used like a warm up to enter in the grammar section, * In this part you will find the –ing form & to – infinitive and exercises which help you and students to understand the grammar section. * Infinitive structure (I like to go…...)Explain any new vocabulary related with sports then, when students don´t have any doubt about the vocabulary, move on to the reading section and answer the exercises. Before Ss do the exercise play the audio conversation to help students with the pronunciation. * Gerund structure (I enjoy reading………...) * In the gerund structure we use the -ing form at the beginning as a subject of a sentence, *after prepositions, * after verbs that express likes and dislikes, * after some phrases like can´t help, look forward to, etc. * You will find too many examples in the book which help to explain the grammar in an easy way. | * Explain any new vocabulary to students by means of pictures or draws to help students to remember the meaning words. * Students read the article on page 42play the audio, and students have to listen and practice the conversation. * After you read the conversation and understand the meaning of it you´ll explain the grammar section, in this section put some emphasis in the words love, like, enjoy, hate, don´t mind which are followed for the – ing form.
