Chapter 1.
Mr Lorry was traveling to Dover when a man stopped his carriage and said he had to meet with a girl in Dover. The girl called Lucy, and Mr Lorry saidhis father was not dead as she thought, but his father was in prison. Then they went to Paris to rescue the Dr.Manette.
Chapter 2.
Mr.Lorry and Lucie go to thetavern where Dr.Manette, there they know Mr.Defarge , he is the owner of the bar. Defarge shows them Dr.Manette's room, he was making shoes. He recognized her daughterby her hair. Lucy In the end, his father and Mr.Lorry went to England; the only person who saw them march was Madame Defarge, the wife of Mr.Defarge.
Chapter 3.A man named Charles Danay is arrested accused of being a French spy. A lawyer named Sydney Carton helped him at trial, Darnay was acquitted by Carton who told thejudge that Danay and he were similar, and it would not be hard to find someone like that, so that you can’t ensure that Darnay was the spy. Charles Darnay and heended up making friends.
Chapter 4.
In this chapter the Marquis de Evremonde going to talk to the king, and being unable to do so, he left for his home. Back home,his carriage hit a child and the Marquis gave him two gold coins to the boy's father. On reaching his village a man said under his carriage had a man hiding but runout. The marquis ordered that killed him if they returned to see. Darnay, the nephew of the Marquis, he was already in the house when the Marquis arrived. Darnaytold Marquis that the people were not happy with their management, but the Marquis would not listen. The next day the Marquis was killed by a man named JAQUES.
