Martin Luther King Jr. was born in January 15, 1929 in Atlanta. He graduated from High School at age 15. He received the NobelPeace Price because he worked to end racial segregation and racial discrimination by organizing civil disobedience. For example his successful Montgomery Bus Boycott with RosaPark and friends of Martin L. King helped organize protest against segregation.
Martin Luther King Jr. contributed changing the community by organizing sit – ins but themost important one the Montgomery Bus Boycott. When Rosa Park refused to give up her seat to a white man. Later, Rosa Park and most of the black community did not ride busesat all. That affected the bus systems income. He never used violence and that helped him acquire civil rights.
He went trough really tough situations. He got his house bombedand got arrested for no reason. When white people wanted to start a fight black people didn’t fight back. That made white people get angry. For example, the KKK would go toblack neighborhoods and humiliate them but, instead the black community reacted differently. They sat in their porches and clapped together. After 381 days of boycotting theywent to the Supreme Court to prove that it was not legal and right to separate black from white. The Supreme Court said and agreed with the African Americans that it wasn’tconstitutional to separate them.
In conclusion I think that without Martin Luther King the society would have been the same change but later in history. We all remember MartinLuther King because he made remarkable changes not only in America but world wide. Many people has been inspired by his actions and speeches of 0Martin Luther King including me.
