ESADE is committed to helping you finance your MBA. There are various financial aid options available to you when planning for the not inconsiderable cost of pursuing an MBA. Like many people around the world who invest in their futures through education, the majority of our students finance the MBA through student loan agreements or personalsavings. We understand that the financing of your MBA can be a complex process; we are here to make it as simple as possible for you! The ESADE Financial Aid Office is committed to assisting you with everything associated with financing your MBA!

Financial Aid & Scholarships
Once admitted to the MBA Programme, ESADE offers MBA Student Loan Agreements for all nationalities throughexclusive arrangements with large Spanish banks with various plans to specifically meet your needs.
Once admitted to the ESADE MBA Programme, we encourage you to start your MBA loan application right away, to ensure sufficient time for processing. A limited number of Merit Based Scholarships and Awards are also available to all admitted students. There is significant competition for each award.
·5 ESADE MBA Student Loan Agreements
The majority of MBA candidates finance their tuition fees through student loans from lending institutions around the globe. Spanish banking institutions show their commitment to ESADE Business School by providing optimal lending terms to all ESADE MBA candidates regardless of nationality). Our partner banks cover up to 100% of the tuition fees. ESADE BusinessSchool has MBA Student Loan Agreements with Caja Madrid, Banc Sabadell and La Caixa.

Do I qualify?
The ESADE MBA Student Loan Agreements are for candidates admitted to any of the MBA programmes at ESADE.
Do I have to open an account with one of our partner banks?
Yes. Once the loan application is processed with one of our partner banks, a bank account will be automatically opened.This bank account would be used as your main bank account during your MBA. After receiving the corresponding approval, you will receive a letter including your bank account number and passwords.
How much can I borrow?
The ESADE MBA Student Loan Agreements generally only cover tuition fees; living expenses are the responsibility of the MBA candidate. Additional loans covering cost of living maybe available on an ad-hoc basis and applications will be studied individually..
Do I need a co-signer, references or guarantees?
Yes. Banks may require a co-signer or additional guarantees In order to be able to approve a loan application. Also, you will be required to sign a life insurance policy as well as a payment protection insurance policy as a condition of the loan programme. Dependingon the bank loan, the insurance can be financed in the loan amount or paid separately.
How and when are loan funds paid out?
The funds will be paid directly to ESADE after signing the Loan.
What is the NIE? What you need it for?
The NIE is the Foreign Identification Number. This number is required to sign the loan and you can start the application before arriving in Barcelona by contactingthe Spanish consulate in your home country.
When can I apply for the loan? How do I apply?
Any admitted MBA candidate may apply for an ESADE MBA Student Loan by completing one of the MBA Loan Application Forms located in the Admitted Students section of our website. You will receive additional and more specific information on conditions, requirements, procedures and repayments in the AdmittedStudents section of our website.

The Scholarships are granted to 25-35 outstanding ESADE MBA candidates with superior academic records, proven professional acumen and a determination to influence the future of business.
