Corporative social Responsibility of Mcdonalds


This is an analysis report on the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) within organizations, this paper will examine how CSR McDonald’s apply and what are their strategies, for develop this roll, we will visit different McDonalds in London city. I Will analyse whether McDonald is currently implementing its corporate socialresponsibilities strategies today. For this report, visit different McDonalds located in London, also be interviewing different employees and customers.
The report begins with an introduction that provides feedback about corporate social responsibility, our second point is a brief overview of the company McDonalds, then analyzes the strategies of McDonalds and what is the impact on the company and itsstakeholders. Finally I will conclude the report.

INTRODUCTION

The main objective of the companies is to generate revenue and profits, believing that this is the secret to be sustainable over time, but over the years companies have realized that their actions bring negative effects to their stakeholders, Which are the mean companies. Nevertheless reason for the companies to understand thegeneral need for social responsibility strategies corporatism.
Meaning of corporative social responsibility take as a reference to Thomas M. Jones which gives us the following meaning:
“Csr is the notion that corporations have an obligation to constituent groups in society other than stockholders and beyond that prescribed by law and union contract. Two facets of this definition are critical.First, the obligation must be voluntarily adopted; behaviour influenced by the coercive forces of law or union contract is not voluntary. Second, the obligation is a broad one, extending beyond the traditional duty to shareholders to other societal groups such as customers, employees, suppliers, and neighbouring communities”. .(Jones,1980, pp 59-60).
Corporation social responsibility has severalmeanings, but any definition for corporate social responsibility will always refer to two areas, which Which are: the internal and the external. the first one of which refers to equal opportunities, social security, non-discrimination (race, age, religion), while the second refers to issues like the environment, respect for human rights, community , customers and so on. Promoting culturaldevelopment and environmental responsibility.
“Social responsibility in the final analysis implies a public posture toward society's economic and human resources and a willingness to see that those resources are used for broad social ends and not simply for the narrowly circumscribed interests of private persons and firms”.(Frederick, 1960,p.60)

McDonalds is the largest foodservice worldwide,with more than 1,7 million of employees also Mcdonalds is in 119 countries and it has 133,000 restauran, which show its succesfull around the world
