Mexican economic problems

Our research problem was created due to the fact that Mexico´s economy is in a downward spiral creating victims of economic instability as well as job loss and chaos. Researching aboutMexico´s economy was a challenge because there are many different viewpoints on how the economy came to be and how it gradually got worse and worse, whereas by either social or governmentcorruption with power, Mexican drug cartels and the drug war taking its toll on the economy and even the individual´s lack of will to act. Economic downfall started way back in the day,not just in recent events. Wars and hyperinflation have caused the economy to have a recession in which the devaluation of our Mexican peso has deflated drastically over the years.Hyperinflation, wars and revolutions cause hording of essentials and a disruption of markets. In some past hyperinflations, workers were paid daily and immediately spent their earnings onessential goods, which they often used for barter. Store shelves were frequently empty. More stable foreign currencies, silver and gold (usually coins) were held and exchanged in place of localcurrency. The minting country of precious metal coins tended to be relatively unimportant. Jewelry was also used as a medium of exchange. Alcoholic beverages were also used for barteretc. Given the chance to interview two professionals also gave us a new perspective in how to view the current economy system and also gives the audience, or reader real information thatwas captured by people that were not expecting to be interviewed so their opinions are not biased or prepared for. Our surveys also gave us a panorama of how the Mexican citizen´s ignoranceis incredibly and unfortunately low, where in many cases people had no idea on how to increase the value of a coin or what the government is doing or not doing to help the economy.
