INTRODUCTION

This work will see below the customs and traditions of a country this case the republic of Nicaragua this is a country that was colonized by the Spanish and now has a very high rate of literacy.

REPUBLIC OF NICARAGUA
Nicaragua is a country located in Central America bordered by Honduras to the north and Costa Rica to the south. The ocean hascoasts on the Pacific and the Caribbean. Nicaragua is consituida as a democratic, participatory and representative, and the four governing bodies are: the Legislative, Executive, Judicial and Electoral. The Nicaraguan people are multi-ethnic and mostly Spanish speaking, language is also the official language. HDI, Nicaragua is among the poorest countries in Latin.
Inhabited by pre-Columbianpeoples, the territory of Nicaragua was conquered by Spain in the sixteenth century. Nicaragua is emerging as an independent country in 1838 after having belonged to the Spanish Empire, the First Mexican Empire and the Federal Republic of Central America. After decades of intervention and strong foreign influence, was installed by the Nicaraguan Revolution, a left-leaning government in1979sandinistade. During the government of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, the country suffered a civil conflict that ended in 1990, while the Sandinistas lost power unpopular elections.
Nicaragua is a tropical volcanic country in the interior there are two large lakes: Lake Managua and Lake Nicaragua. Today Nicaragua has a dispute with Colombia to redefine the limits Maritimes who share in the CaribbeanSea.

Geography
The Republic of Nicaragua is a country located in the geographic center of Central America. Bordered on the north by Honduras, south to Costa Rica, on the west by the Pacific Ocean and east by the Caribbean Sea. For administrative reasons, Nicaragua is divided into 15 departments and two autonomous regions. These, in turn, are divided into municipalities, currently 153.In Nicaragua are from savannah to pristine mountains with native species, and enjoys having one of the largest lakes in the world with exotic species such as freshwater shark, still uninhabited plateaus with spring weather all year round in central and peaceful country, including cold spots, beaches, impressive still virgin, where he currently is setting a new wave of tourists mainly from Honduras and ElSalvador, also taking advantage of low land costs, active volcanoes islasimpresionantes and stillunexplored as Ometepe, Zapatera, the islets of Granada or Corn Island, among others.

Hydrography
Nicaragua is a country of large lakes and many rivers. We can distinguish three aspects, the Caribbean, the Pacific and internal.
The Caribbean side is home to the longest rivers and mighty, manywith browsing capabilities. The most important are the Coco River, which borders Honduras, the San Juan River, which borders Costa Rica, Tuma, Siquia and Indio.
The Pacific slope has short, rapid rivers, some flowing and intermittent.
The inner side is formed by the rivers that flow into the lakes of the rift valley. It is an endorheic basin of volcanic origin. Most significant in this basin are thetwo large lakes (Managua, Nicaragua), which are linked by the river Tipitapa, and empties into the Atlantic through the Rio San Juan. The entire San Juan River-Lake Nicaragua was the first proposal to open a canal between the Atlantic and the Pacific, although the final project was the Panama Canal.
