RESUMEN DE POLITICA MONETARIA
En 2002 la evolución de la economía nacional resulto menos favorable que la aplicación al inicio del año.Si bien el PIB se expandió en 2002 a una tasa superior a la prevista al comenzar el año la producción industrial experimento una variación negativa mas pronunciada que la esperaba.
Esto ultimo afecta adversamente al crecimiento de la economía mexicana, ya que su principal vinculo con la actividad económica de los estados unidos se da precisamente con la producción industrial, mediante elintercambio comercial cabe destacar que , por segundo año consecutivo, el sector externo y la inversión hicieran una contribución negativa al crecimiento económico y por tanto, este ultimo nuevamente se sustenta en el consumo.
La lenta expansión que experimento la economía nacional en 2002 estuvo acompañada de una creación de empleos prácticamente nula.
