Opportunidad escolar

The central valley of California is a beautiful place with warm people and weather. It has a vast amount of diversity and culture. I spent the happiest moments of my life there. I thought nothingcould change that. Sometimes things happen that turn your life upside down and the only way to get through it is with a positive attitude. I strongly believe everything happens for a reason.
The mostimportant thing that most people know about me is that I am very family oriented. My family and I make most decisions together. I highly value my parents’ opinion because they have the most experiencein life and I trust their judgment.
I followed in my dad’s footsteps and attended all the schools he went to. The one step I could not follow him in was college, but that was because unlike me hedidn't have the opportunity to attend college. I started attending college in the fall of 2004 to earn a degree in Business Administration. I have no siblings which meant that I was the only person of myparents’ family to attend college. Knowing that, I was even more motivated to do my absolute best. My dad is the sole provider for the family so my choices to attend college were very limited. Inorder to attend school I would rely heavily on grants, scholarships and loans. I have attended more than a few schools since I first started in 2004. Each move was mainly due to economic hardship. In2007 when I still lived in California my home was foreclosed on and my folks realized we could no longer stay in this state. My father looked hard for an affordable home online. We were lucky to find onein Van Buren, Missouri. Soon after I attended Three Rivers C.C. and a few semesters later I graduated with an A.A. in General Education. This made my family very proud because I was the only personto attain this type of collegiate degree. I was located in a rural area so there weren’t many job opportunities for my dad or myself.
