ORDERING YOUR PRIVATE WORLD

Introduction

What a beautiful concept: THE PRIVATE WORLD. That intimate place where I am with Him. It is not just a place it is recognition of who really I am in Him.

I would like to mention something I read from my first mentor book called “Camino” (Path):

“Some plants were covered with snow. When the peasant owner of thefield saw the snow over them said joyfully: Now they are growing inside…”

This book it is about “Growing inside”, it is a personal call to me: Am I growing inside? Are the decisions I make in my life or my activities the ones that help me to grow inside or to grow outside to be seen? Seen by whom?

Reading this book is exciting but it takes a lot of courage to continue reading it without feeling aneed to stop and make big decisions, to me was like a personal trainer that helped to activate my prayer for all the things I need to change. It also activated my enthusiasm to build an intimate and strong relationship with Jesus to strengthen my spirit.

There is a saying that says: “Without order there is no life”

It is God the number one in my list? How are my priorities? It is my world inorder? How are my wounds? What it needs to be healed? What about my time? How it is the growth of my mind? The food I am giving to my spirit through the precious prayer time?

But over all above it is good to clarify to myself who I am now and without regrets walk ahead and visualize who I want to be.

What caught my attention mostly is the easily spiritual progress we perceive through these pages.
Iwas moved to a new awaken, I just loved it! I praise the Lord, Alleluia!
Let’s grow inside!





THE DRIVEN PERSON

I can't think of a better word for it. Gordon MacDonald calls it "drivenness." Many folks admire people that are driven. They get things done. They can often be found it key positions in successful organizations.

1. Often gratified only by accomplishment
2. Pre-occupied withSymbols of Success.
3. Caught in the Uncontrolled Pursuit of Expansion.
4. Limited regard for integrity.
5. Tend to possess limited or undeveloped people skills.
6. Tend to be highly competitive
7. Often has a volcanic force of anger.
8. Tend to be abnormally busy.

When being a driven person is described in this way, I can see that it is anything positive.
But as this marvelous book invited me to“LEARN HOW TO THINK” there must be another side of the coin where we could contemplate ourselves when as driven people we had good motives and thoughts, probably not clear and pure intentions.

This comes to my mind after crying a bit for my selfish attitude. I do perceive He knew what kind of material I was made of, because HE KNOWS ME PERFECTLY.

I think we all got that flash of enthusiasm to servehim once we have been touched by a Godly experience.

Not everybody gets the guidance, the prayer life, the thinking development, the right time management.

I can imagine Paul being converted by the first light that blinded him and start serving Jesus just because He fell from the horse. The conversion is a process I just learned.

I remember as a celebrity of the “Public World” it wasn’t hard todisplay to everybody how busy I was, I got recognition of being smart because I was capable to do so much! In fact there were times were doing nothing bothered me, resting was something I didn’t deserve.

I felt exhausted in my body and my soul, still I continued because I didn’t know there were other ways to serve, I mean the “right way to serve the Lord” the one I received was about doing, doingand more doing but that was building me too, I wish I could start in a different way.

During my beginning I was worried for not doing enough; a competition between me and the whole world was running in my mind all the time. Looking good, I confess, made me feel good! I shouldn’t say that I felt good but when I consider all the steps that had brought me till this moment of my life I need to...
