Biography of Ozzy Osbourne
John Michael Osbourne better known as Ozzy Osbourne was born on December 3, 1948 inBirmingham,England in a family of extreme poverty.
Small Osbourne had many difficulties in school because he suffered from dyslexia. Thus, he takes refuge in music and became the singer in a local bandcalled "Rare Breed".
Later, a classmate, Tony Iommi, invites you to join their band "Polka Tulk Blues Band" (later renamedEarth).
During this time was very popular psychedelic rock, andjust Iommi and the band members wanted todifferentiate themselves from the most popular, so start playing heavy blues. By this time, the name"Earth" was quite used by local bands who are baptized so asBlack Sabbath, following a song written by Ozzy.
Along with Black Sabbath recorded a series of albums during the '70s, and managed to sell about 70 million copies during his career as a whole.
In1979, Osbourne is fired from Black Sabbath for their drug abuse. To this is added the divorce from hisfirst wife Thelma and a diagnosis of bipolar mental disorder. All these problems plunged into adeepdepression Ozzy that led him to spend several weeks in a locked hotel room.
Coincidentally, the daughter of Black Sabbath manager, Sharon Arden, finds him and convinces him torestart hislife. So Ozzy and Sharon are married and she takes care to be their representative. In this way she gets a record contract with Jet Records.
In 1980, the band "Necromandus" Ozzy Osbourne and testedwith these assays soon become what would be his first solo album "Blizzard of Ozz".
