Selective Perception is something that is very clear throughout the film. It could be the topic that is always there. We recall that the selective perception means that peopleselectively interpret what they see on the basis of their interests, background, experience, and attitudes. For example, Gordon Gekko sees in his stock market investments and supposed firms rescues, morethan an aid to the enterprise. He sees benefits, money. Greed, as he said, is not bad. Instead, Bud Fox will see this takeover an ethical conflict shared with his father, Carl Fox and other unionworkers.
Halo effect is also present in the film from the first time that Gordon and Bud are known. Gordon repeatedly evaluates the clothing of Bud and, through that impression, is forging a senseof him. At the time of the film in which both are in a restaurant, Gordon offers to give him a suit and thus cause a better impression.
