General Purposes.
• Acquire basic vocabulary and fixed expressions in order to communicate in English in the foreign language classroom.
• Become familiar with a variety of oraland written text (quotidian, academic and literary) and use them for limited purposes.
• Acquire confidence in using a limited range of structures and vocabulary in the foreign language so as to speech or write about themselves.
• Develop and rely on some basic strategies, especially of a non-verbal kind, in order to compensate for a lack of command of the language.
• Recognizesimilarities and difference regarding form and social and between their mother tongue and the foreign language.


Specific purposes.


Students will be able to:
▪ Develop abilities to increase their personal level of English by using the following strategic competences:
✓ Listening.
Ss could understand dialogues, conversations, and short paragraphs, as they us them inorder to communicate in or out of the classroom.
✓ Oral expression.
Ss could talk about their preferences and things they like using their previous knowledge about a topic.
✓ Reading comprehension.
Ss can infer vocabulary just by checking the written information, it’s helpful to them in order to answer questionnaires or get cue words in the English class.
✓Written expression.
Ss have yo use their acquire vocabulary and structures in order in order to communicate but not only by speaking but writing too about their lives and their likes.


It’s necessary that in English classes Ss participate to give them the opportunity to express their feelings but always usung the second language.
