LESSON PLAN
SUBJECT: ENGLISH I GRADE: First GROUP:”A”, “B” & “C” PERIOD: August 23rd /August 27th.
• UNIT: Introduction: Classroom Language.
• UNIT PURPOSE: The purpose of this unit is to provide with some basic classroom language that will enable them to communicate in English at all times during their foreign language lessons.• SOCIAL PRACTICE: Establishing and maintaining social contacts./ carrying out certain transactions.
• FUNCTION OF LANGUAGE: I.1. - Greeting people and responding to greetings./ I.2.-Communicating in the classroom.
• GENERAL PERFORMANCE EVIDENCE: Students can use language creatively and appropriately by choosing lexis, phrases and grammatical resources in order to produce short,relevant oral texts regarding socialization in the classroom (conversation).
