HAMPTON HOUSE
William: I have a lot of things to do!
Kathy: hello
Narrator: William opened his eyes. A lovely girl stood in front of his desk.
William: hello young lady who are you?
Kathy: I’m Kathy, I’m new here….can you help me?
William: yes off course!....you can help me with the small trolley! Why don`t you come and meet all the rest of the group?
Kathy: Ok!--------------------------------------------Kathy and William disappear--------------------------------------------
Narrator: the old people`s home was outside the town.. When they arrived, William parked at the main entrance. He went to the back of the van and pushed a big trolley of books out of it.
William: you have to take this books in order for take the trolley around the rooms because old people can`t get out ofthe bed. The matron will give you the room numbers.
---------------------------------------------------Matron Arrive--------------------------------------------------------
Matron: hello William!...who`s this?
Kathy: hello I’m Kathy, I’m new here, and William told me to come here.
Matron: ok!, this is the list of the numbers, leave the lady in room 16 last, because she likes and feels solonely now she has to stay in bed.
Kathy: all right.
Narrator: Kathy went room by room giving books, the people were so happy for meeting new people. At last she went to the room 16.
---------------------------------------------Kathy opens the door----------------------------------------------------
Emily: come in.
Narrator: an old lady smiled at Kathy.
Kathy: good afternoon, my name is Kathy,I’m working for the helping hand, I brought you some books, Do you want to read one?
Emily: I’m Miss Emily, nice to meet you.
Emily: I’m very old now but when I was young I went to work in a big house, washing and ironing. Lord Hampton lived alone, he had rich parties in the town, but he was not kind with his servants, all of them were hungry and cold.
Kathy: how terrible!
Emily: but he wasn`t abad man, just he didn`t thing abut his servants, rich people and his work, that was all the thought about.
Kathy: now is somebody there.
Emily: no, the house is old and it needs to repair.
Kathy: and lord Hampton?
Narrator: Miss Emily stood in silence. Kathy think that she was keeping a secret, so she just said.
Kathy: do you want to read a book?
Emily: no thank you.
William: what took youso long?
Kathy: Miss Emily told me about the days when she was young.
William: who`s miss Emily?
Kathy: the lady in the room 16.
William: but the lady in the room 16 is called Karen black. Maybe I got the name wrong.
William: wait, wait, do you want to go to the Saturday dance with me?
Kathy: yes, see you at 8 o clock.

William: this is Sue.
Sue: nice to meet you, come and meet the rest of the crowd.
William: this is Joan.
William: Come to dance!
Kathy: Ok!

Narrator: after the dance was over, they went home.
Kathy: bye-bye see youtomorrow!
William: Ok! See you!
Narrator: time ago they went to visit old people`s home, Kathy visited the rooms on the matron`s list, but number 16 wasn`t on the list.
Kathy: where is the lady from the room 16?
Matron: she`s gone away, by the way, I found a paper with your name on the floor of the room 16, so I think that is to you.

Narrator: Kathy opened the paper; there were only 2 words, VISIT HAMPTON.
