* Summary
Elizabeth Bennet is a clever Young girl who likes being independent and who believes in true love, which was ‘unusual’ for her time. She has four sisters: Jane,Mary, Kitty and Lydia. Her mum is a typical woman of that period; she is worry about her daughters in the way of marring them with the best husbands. Despite, her father is calmer; he only wants hisdaughters’ happiness.
Her sister gets in love with a rich man, called Charles Bingley, who is always with his closer friend, Mr. Darcy, a very rich man. Mr. Collins, the girl’s cousin, asks forlizzy’s hand in marriage and then he marries Louise, Lizzy’s best friend. Lizzy gets angry with her friend because she thought that her friend also believed in true love and didn`t like marriages ofconvenience but Louise told her that she just had that chance not to have rely on her poor parents. After a time, Lizzy goes to visit them and she meets Darcy, who declared his love to her. She rejects himtelling him all his prejudices. Soon, he sends a letter to her in which proves that the things that she said weren’t true. They meet again and he is very kind with her and her uncles when they go tovisit Derbyshire and a closer town. She received a letter from Jane, telling her that Lydia had run away with an official. Lizzy and her uncle and aunt go quickly to Longbourn. Despite, Mr. Darcy helpthe family convincing the couple to marry. Later, suddenly, Lady Catherine, a very rich woman, aunty of Mr. Darcy, visits the Bennets to convince Lizzy not to marry with him. But, few days later, Mr.Darcy goes to ask for Lizzy’s hand in marriage. She accepts him. They get marry and Mr. Bingley and Jane also get marry and both couples finally decide to live closer.
