Research Proposal.

SUBJECT: PROFUNDIZACIÓN.
ProposedResearch Topic: Is technology misuse in the Chilean schools learning process?
Purposes: In spite of, Chile has the most advanced network technology, which is not reflected in education area sowell. No all Chilean schools have an easier access to the technology, because, some of them do not have enough resources to the totality of the students needs; on the other hand, the majority of Chileanstudents have a higher level of understanding about the websites, the management of a computer, or the use of virtual games, etc. For this reason, the use of technology could be very beneficial to thelearning of Chilean students, but also that could not worth and it is a waste of money to the school, because the students give an unnecessary use to that beneficial and useful tool. In that projectI will explore in the appropriate use of technology for a good learning especially Chilean students who are so wrong in the technology misuse.
Background: My project will be guide by the wellknowing programme “enlaces”. The so- called “knowledge society” was an adjustment to the Chilean Education system which was an new technological system for secondary and primary schools in the 90’s, andwas an incorporation of I.C.T. At the beginning that reform was seen as an extraordinary and powerful tool to improve the teaching practice and also to enhance the communication among the students andthe teachers. As far as Enlace programme was extended for along the regions of Chile, the government and education department all see and show the positives outcomes of it, due to the big investment(it has spent near to 250 million USD over almost 15 years). But it is not absolutely true, the result of the programme not only have incomes, which are according to the misuse of technology and also...
