Los Carbohidratos.

¿Que son los carbohidratos?
Son los compuestos orgánicos más abundantes y a su vez los más diversos. Están integrados por carbono, hidrógeno y oxígeno, de ahí su nombre. Sonparte importante de nuestra dieta, es decir, el conjunto de alimentos consumidos en un día (no confundir con el régimen que se sigue para bajar de peso o tratar algunas enfermedades).
Entendiendo esto, la dieta está compuesta principalmente por carbohidratos, lípidos y proteínas. Los carbohidratos se clasifican en:
 
* Simples: son azúcares de rápida absorción ya que por su tamaño puedenempezarse a digerir desde la saliva; éstos generan la inmediata secreción de insulina. Son aquellos que saben más dulces.
* Complejos: son de absorción más lenta, y actúan más como energía de reserva.
Cabe recalcar que el abuso de estos puede provocar enfermedades como la diabetes la hipertensión o algún problema cardiaco.
