Abstract
Simple diffusion: means that the molecule can pass directly through the membrane. Facilitated diffusion; uses channels (formed by membrane proteins) to allow charged molecules (whichotherwise could not pass through the membrane) to freely diffuse in and out of the cell. Active transport : requires an expenditure of energy to transport the molecule from one side to the other of themembrane, but active transport is the only one that can transport molecules against a concentration gradient DISSOLUTION HYPOTONIC
This solution contains a low concentration of solute concentrationrelative to the cytoplasm.
SOLUTION HYPERTONIC
If a semipermeable membrane separates a solution with a higher concentration of dissolved substances from another with a lower concentration of solutescalled “Hypertonic”
Isotonic solutions are those where the solute concentration is the same on both sides of the membrane
This practice was conducted under certain hypothesis that hypotonicsolutions, hypertonic and isotonic act differently in the cells and also in the membranes. This practice has led the process and actually observed these reactions by adding a few drops of each solution in thesmall sample Elodia plant, relying on an optical microscope for further observation
Objetivos
Objetivo general
Comparar los procesos físicos de difusión, osmosis, y diálisis con el procesofisiológico mediante el cual las moléculas se transportan a través de las membranas celulares.
