E: Conceiving of the workplace as a strategic element in the enterprise requires a shift in how we view the workplace. Traditionally, the workplace is viewed as a physicalcontainer for work.
Its design is influenced by considerations of cost, work processes, and organizational culture. But the workplace as a strategic element of the organization is more than this; it depends on the internal compatibility, indeed the active mutual reinforcement of spatial, organizational, financial, and technological arrangements.
These dimensions are interdependent: Change one,and the others will be affected in some way, sometimes raising opportunities otherwise unachievable.
The objective, then, is to achieve a dynamic coherence between the work and these four dimensions of the workplace.

S: La concepción del trabajo como un elemento estratégico en la empresa requiere un cambio en nuestra forma de ver el lugar de trabajo. Tradicionalmente, el lugar de trabajo esvisto como un recipiente física para el trabajo.

Su diseño está influenciado por consideraciones de costo, los procesos de trabajo y la cultura organizacional. Pero el lugar de trabajo como un elemento estratégico de la organización es más que eso, depende de la compatibilidad interna, en realidad la armadura activa mutuo de los arreglos espaciales, organizativos, financieros y tecnológicos.Estas dimensiones son interdependientes: un cambio, y los demás se verán afectados de alguna manera, a veces aumentar las oportunidades de otro modo inalcanzables.

El objetivo, entonces, es lograr una coherencia dinámica entre el trabajo y estas cuatro dimensiones del lugar de trabajo.
