Every March 17 we celebrate an important date that has great impact in various countries around the world. This is St. Patrick's Day, which is made to worship the patron saint of Ireland throughendless festivals where the beer and the joy is tinged with green.

This date is property for the many parades that are made very popular in several countries, particularly in Ireland and the UnitedStates, such as the celebrations in the cities of Dublin (since 1931) and New York (1762, when a group of Irish soldiers marched through the city center, this being the first celebration of the date).Noting the great impact that generated this festival, since 1996 the Irish government began a massive recall of this holy way, exploiting the full potential it generates, using the traditionalsymbols of Ireland. Year after year the celebration is more and more durable, extending up to 5 days of pure celebration, color and joy.
But beyond the festival, we have four items relating to date relatedto each other: the Leprechaun and the beer and the shamrock with Ireland's patron saint.
The Leprechaun, or also known as a typical Irish leprechaun is a classic character from Irish mythology,which was earlier than the Celtic tribes. Its name comes from the Luprachán, or perhaps from the Gaelic leith bhrogan (which makes a shoe), given its mandate to cobbler rogue manufactured one shoe of eachpair (for mischief and drunk). It is usually manifested by traditional garments of green especially during the feast of St. Patrick. This being folk is characterized by owning a fortune in goldcoins, but in turn very slippery. Many stories tell that once the man stops him for a second, the puck slips away quickly, taking with him the secret of the location of all its riches.

During the feastof St. Patrick, it is almost always with a beer in hand, being a symbol of Ireland and the alcohol culture.
